Ana Carolina Gonzalez Benoit, founding partner of MGA, has extensive experience in the analysis of regulatory economic environment. She has focused her practice on providing counsel and advice in cases of alleged anti-competitive practices, free competition, commercial arbitration, antitrust, mergers and acquisitions. She completed part of her training at the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) of the United States of America and the Canadian Competition Bureau.
Between 1998 and 2003 she served as Director of Verification and Mergers at the Superintendency for the Promotion and Protection of Free Competition (PROCOMPETENCIA). She is a member of the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI), where she serves as a member of the Regulatory Committee.

Economist graduated from the Andrés Bello Catholic University (UCAB) in 1994 (Caracas, Venezuela) with graduate studies in Health Services Management at the same university.
